This table tracks the performance of all participant portfolios throughout the competition period, which runs from 1 February to 31 October 2026. Each portfolio consists of five equally weighted JSE-listed shares, selected at the start of the challenge and held for the full duration.
Portfolio values will rise and fall as markets respond to company results, economic data, global events and shifts in investor sentiment. Movements on the leaderboard reflect these changing market dynamics rather than short-term predictions.
The leaderboard is updated weekly every Monday, allowing participants to follow their progress, compare performance, and observe how different stocks and sectors respond to market conditions over time.
While rankings are an important part of the competition, the Cristal Challenge is ultimately about learning. We encourage participants to look beyond the numbers and consider why portfolios move the way they do.
