What an incredible way to kick off season two of the Small Business Showcase! Mark Sham interviewed Eben Uys, Co-founder and MD of Mad Giant Brewery, where mad science meets a massive love of beer.
At the beginning of lockdown Eben reckoned he had one months’ cash flow available. And of course, let’s then throw into the mix an initial 21 days of lockdown that turned into months, and included three alcohol bans.
From brewing to pumping ethanol, and then growing yeast - this is a story not to be missed. They may be a small brewery, but they are doing big things.
